Placenta Policy
Sign out paperwork for whoever the placenta is released to. Put the name of whoever will be meeting me at the patient drop off.

Negative Hep C test required and placenta will not be released without it. You must take this test and have the results back BEFORE birth. Typically this test is taken in early pregnancy. Simply confirm with your care provider at your next prenatal visit.

Placenta must be removed from premises within 2 hours of delivery. They are typically not strict about this if baby is born during the night.
