April Eubanks

I grew up with a deep understanding that birth should be supported, celebrated, and treasured and that this time requires lots of love and care. As I looked closer, I learned that not only is a new life being born, but it is also the birth of a Mother.

When a family is preparing to bring in new life and they receive proper support that is rooted in deep care of the whole family, that newly transformed family will be better off during the postpartum period and beyond. This belief is what draws me to be a doula.

I have experienced firsthand the beauty and challenges that accompany birth and the postpartum journey, as I have three children of my own. I deeply honor the invitation to share in this intimate experience and offer non-judgmental support. Each family I have served has been a teacher, and I am grateful to have been a part of each tender moment in their lives.

I am passionate about supporting families through their journey of pregnancy, birth and beyond. My goal is to educate and empower and leave you feeling stronger and more confident.

My Doula Philosophy

I believe that nature’s design offers us a roadmap to wellness and health. We thrive when we follow that map which has been passed down from previous generations. Knowledge about birth and parenting is stored within each of us. When we tap into our own inner wisdom, we can take personal authority of our birth process and beyond. Women are the heart and foundation of humanity. Empowering Mothers will support a healthy family, and when families are empowered, we all thrive.

How I Support You

I offer my heart and hands while you prepare for this major life transition. My goal is to help create a space that feels safe and free of judgement. I arrive with a listening ear to validate your feelings and honor your choices, knowing that my role is fluid, I will meet you where you are.  I work with the intent to build your confidence by providing current evidence-based information, so you can make knowledgeable choices that reflect your unique family. I am here to fully support you with a goal of helping create a healthy birth experience.

“We cannot recommend April enough. She worked with us as our doula when we welcomed twins as our third and fourth kids. She is warm, knowledgeable, and caring. We cherish the time we had with April and consider ourselves lucky to have had her as our doula.”
