3 Prenatal Meetings
Priorities and Values: We discuss your priorities and hopes for your birth process, work through your fears and reservations, and begin to visualize and consciously prepare for your birth. We also discuss the importance of good body mechanics and positioning, and we practice several exercises that bring balance to your body to help ease pregnancy discomfort and prepare your body for labor.
Birth Preferences: We work through your birth preferences, going over any questions you have regarding your options and help you create your “Birth Plan”.
Comfort Measures: We will explore positions and techniques to help you build confidence for the big day. We practice:
how to move through the various stages of labor
breathing and relaxation techniques
massage techniques
ways to use a peanut ball and birth ball
positions for comfort and progress during labor and pushing
and more!
